Students Speak Out: Milwaukee

About Students Speak Out

Here on Students Speak Out (SSO) we share our experiences and ideas so we can help people who make decisions about our schools understand more deeply the issues that impact us and our ideas for solutions.

We want to define the issues for ourselves, and identify solutions. Our voices deserve to be in the mix. We can inspire change!

Participate on the forum! Help make SSO Milwaukee a cool place to be!

Students Speak Out Milwaukee provides an opportunity for students to speak out about school. What kind of environments, people, or experiences have helped you succeed? Which ones have stood in your way? What motivates you (and does not motivate you) to attend school and learn? We want to know and hope that you will share your thoughts and experiences here with other Milwaukee Public School students, teachers, and community members.

Write about your experiences in the discussion forums. Post videos and pictures and music that inspires you. Feel free to start a topic on anything that matters to you about school in Milwaukee. Your stories will help others see the challenges you've faced, the success you've had, and what you want school to be.
