I agree completely with your concept, not so much your terminology. I believe that this is a commnunity of social and mild political professionalism and that all members should act accordingly, but if you have a problem with anything going on here, you should contact whoever it is that keeps the site up and running. I have seen some pictures I thought was inappropriate, but not pornagraphic to the mildest extent, but of course, I haven't seen every picture on the site. I strongly doubt that anyone could come here and get the same idea as you as far as this being a "barely legal" porn site.

Thank you Marquita for a very thoughtful response. I agree with you. Some of the photo's aren't in the best of taste, but I haven't seen anything that warrents the use of the phrase "barely legal porn site." That's more extreme than the photos.

I have contacted the site administrator to make sure the most inappropriate pictures will be removed as soon as he sees the memo. We will still be discussing the issue overall, because there is powerful learning and organizing opportunities for the students who want to make sure the site stays true to its mission.

The pictures have been removed. Marquita, you had a great response and suggestion that people contact the site administrator when this happens. I look forward to the student leaders continuing to work to make sure the important messages you're working hard to put up on this site aren't clouded by distracting images.

Thank you, ShoeLover, for alerting the administrators so this could be addressed. I encourage you to participate in other discussions on this site so we can draw attention to that positive work.

Do not post any pictures, videos, music, forum topics, or comments on people’s walls that are gang-related, have cuss words, show exposed-skin and so on. When in doubt, don’t post it!

Also, students, do you know that college admissions officers are looking at MySpace, Facebook, here, and elsewhere to evaluate you! In some cases, they're impressed. In others, they are turned off. Thought you might be interested in this article.
